Sitka has the largest small boat harbor in Alaska, isn't it time you visited?

This website is a public service of the Sitka Economic Development Association (SEDA) in pursuit of our goal to strengthen the local marine industries sector and make it a viable industry in our local economy. This website makes it easier for boat owners, users, suppliers and marine contractors to find the services they need and thereby facilitate direct contact and exchange of information. It is also designed to allow local marine businesses to market their products and services not only to Sitka clientele but to the rest of Alaska and the lower 48.

SEDA strives to gather information about our boat and fishing industry to help businesses, both start-up and existing.  SEDA's goal is to help the marine services industry to plan and execute a long-range strategy for growth and expansion.  In the fall of 2007, SEDA conducted a Sitka Marine Industries Survey and from that SEDA has begun to develop the Gary Paxton Industrial Park (GPIP) with the community's goals in mind.
